New Years Eve dinner – Eating into 2013
Following an (at least a few years) old tradition, we entered 2013 in a very relaxed way with our good friends – and a lot of great food. Honestly, could there be a better start into the new year other than enjoying to cook and eat with good friends?
After a glas of crémant and a little amuse gueule - homemade dulce de membrillo with manchego cheese – we had a trout and beetroot terrine with purslane salad.
This was followed by a super soft and herb flavoured rabbit (although I could smell only half of the flavours due to my cold) with polenta rhombes as side dish.

For dessert – our sweet start into 2013, after we lighted up some sparklers – we ate dulce de leche ice cream with damson compote.
I hope, all of you had as well such a great start into the new year 2013! In any case, I am wishing you all the best for the upcoming year! Thanks to you, the (increasing number) of readers of my little blog! Blogging about my passions still brings a lot of joy to me – and hopefully to you as well!
