After giving this clutch finally to my sister for her birthday, I can now make it public as well.
I followed the tutorial of the always great Noodlehead, using a tweed main fabric and two different coordinating fabrics for the lining, inside divider pockets and the front band (Anna Maria Horners “Fortune zinnia” and Joel Dewberrys “Acorn Chain”). For me, the most tricky and time consuming step was the adjusting of the gathers… It really cost my nerves till I had them fixed exactly where I wanted them to be! Anyway, the whole project was finished on one afternoon, and with this clutch I am sure my sister will be the style queen on her next party.
