The last days I had the opportunity to stay at this impressive Bauhaus building, build in 1930 by Adolf Schneck as a recreation home for tradesmen. Today the building belongs to the “Landeszentrale für politische Bildung” and is used as a conference centre. The restoration of the house was done very carefully and with sure instinct by the Landeszentrale and included the refurbishing of the Bauhaus furniture inside and combining it with new one. Feels like the 1920s!
Besides the historical building the view from up there where just terrific, especially when the sun shined right onto the plateau of the Swabian Alb.
…and, eh, yes, the reason I was there: I attended an informative seminar and met a lot of nice people.
